Description

Ducati has produced many great motorcycles throughout its history, however one of the most iconic models is, without doubt, the 916. This benchmark motorcycle set new standards for performance, design and rider engagement for many years after its launch.

The Massimo Tamburini designed masterpiece carefully evolved over the following years to form the basis for Ducati’s new models.

In 2001, this platform was the underpinning for the 996R, an evolution of the 916 range, that featured many upgrades and introduced the ‘Testastretta’ (narrower cylinder head) motor into the chassis. Along with a host of upgraded parts, this limited production bike sold out instantly worldwide, with only 500 examples being produced.

Our beautiful 996R has only covered 6139 miles (confirmed with MOT history) and is a genuine UK, 2-owner bike. Benefitting from a meticulous service and maintenance record, with a no-expense spared approach to keeping it in perfect condition. It can only be described as one of the best examples for sale today.

Supplied with its original parts and a well-documented service history, this example includes both exhaust systems, user manuals & service booklets,
2 keys and its Certificate of Authenticity plaque, this is a rare chance to acquire a truly stunning example of this iconic Ducati.
