Originally a US import, this Z converted to RHD in 2002.
We bought the car in 2011 and we commenced with a full nut add bolt restoration of the car.
The work undertaken included a total strip down to bare shell, new floors, inner /outer sills, inner & outer wheel arches, wings and bonnet.
The underside of the car, including all mechanical parts have been sandblasted and repainted, so that the underside of the car is to the same standard as the gleaming bodywork.
The car features a race engine from Fourways Engineering Ltd. New triple weber carburetors tuned by John Lamb ensure that this car runs smoothly from cold and yet delivers a very potent 222BHP.
The 5-speed gearbox has also been refurbished and the car features a limited slip differential, ensuring good traction.
The fully adjustable front and rear wishbones with coil over suspension provide this car with fantastic levels of grip and balance.
Strengthened drive shafts and new front hubs have been the finishing touches in readying this car for the road, regularity events or the occasional track day.
The car has not been used since the above date and therefore is a fresh rebuild for the next owner to cherish and enjoy.
