Description

Alzen Motorsport Porsche 964 Turbo RS built late in 1992, based on an original M700 series chassis, from a Maritime Blue Cup car. Commissioned by the first and only German owner Herr Clemens Wien, a good friend of team boss Jurgen Alzen.  Within the provenance, Herr Wein has confirmed that the chassis was from the original 1992 German Carrera Cup car, driven by Uwe Alzen, before the car was crashed.

Jurgen Alzen Motorsport were a registered German car manufacturer, similar to companies such as RUF. An ultimate road car was conceived, starting with a now fully repaired factory 964 Cup chassis with original Matter cage, seam welds, alloy bonnet and original 18″ Magnesium wheels. The car was made into a wide body with steel RSR arches and a DP tuned turbo II 3,3 engine with associated big turbo and cabin boost control.

Quoting a very modest 360BHP on low boost with 422lb/ft. torque, this car provided startling performance and even today can hold its own.

The car was painted in Alzen yellow along with two other Cup Cars. The other two cars left Alzen as narrow bodies with normally aspirated engines.

The car was given a new Alzen chassis number ending in 1 as the first road car they made. Unlike other race cars, this car stayed with Alzen Motorsport from racing to full road conversion, all done in house with turbo technical help from DP Motorsport.

First registered in Germany as a Turbo RS, this remains on the UK V5c. Other than the rear carbon Kevlar spoiler and 993RS front struts added, the car remains totally original.

There is a recent full engine leak down test showing a minimum 3% on any cylinder with a good chassis report. New Turbo and Stainless Steel exhaust with a new set of Michelin Pilot Cup 2 Sports are all recent.

There is a full history file with service book, originally stamped by Jurgen Alzen Motorsport who looked after the car whilst in Germany. There is a full DEKRA (German Standards Agency) report, commissioned for road registration of the time. The paperwork is complete and confirms the fabulous history of this car and is available for review by the buyer to satisfy themselves.

A car with RSR plus all round performance, constantly on tap for a fraction of the price. Conceived and executed by one of the most revered race teams of the time and unlikely to be repeated.
