Supplied new at the end of 1969 and distributed by British Leyland New York, this lovely Jaguar E-type Series 2 OTS spent the majority of its life in the state of Texas. The condition of the car is testament to the dry weather in that area and its low mileage, which whilst not totally traceable, is supported by the service invoices that accompany the car.
Imported by the current owner in 2015, this E-type was subjected to a considerable recommission covering many major components including; water pump, starter motor, brakes, engine mounts, bushes, ball joints, shocks, radiator, fans, hoses and fuel lines to name a few.
Since that time, it has covered a little over 3,000 miles and has recently had a gearbox overhaul.
Presenting in a very mature and seductive colour combination of Regency Red over Tan interior this E-type is sure to turn heads as well as being a joy to own.
