Description

This Jensen Interceptor MK3 is a J-series production model featuring the enormous 440 cubic inch Chrysler engine and smooth 3 speed Torqueflite gearbox.  This combination propelled this four-seater luxury GT car from 0-60 mph in just 6.4 seconds and went on to a top speed of 140 mph. Coupled to Jensen’s handling know-how and the car’s 50/50 weight distribution the Interceptor was a force to be reckoned with no matter what the opponent.

This example has benefitted from a thorough restoration of both the body and mechanical items.  Recently stripped and repainted in stunning Brienz metallic blue and reupholstered in cream leather with blue piping.  There is too much to list but the following gives you a feel for the level of detail the owner has gone to; New Elderbrock carb, full A/C recommission, new wheels, tyres, chrome work, exhausts & ignition system…. The list goes on. Rarely do we see a Jensen restored to such a high standard.

Accompanying the car are two folders of history supporting the car’s low mileage.  Items include the original production sheets and factory build forms through to a full stack of MOT’s and service history.
