Description

A superb opportunity own arguably the most important Lola T70 Spyder in existence.

Supplied originally to Team Surtees, and driven by both Graham Hill and John Surtees, this T70 Spyder was at the forefront of the British racing scene through 1966. Sold into the USA in 1967, and raced in ’67 & ’68 seasons by its then owner G. Hollinger unit he sold the car in 1969.  After this time the car was used for recreational track time until it ended up on display.

Once back in Europe the car was totally restored in 2007 by a marque specialist and since then the car has enjoyed some amazing results in the hands of its experienced and highly competitive previous owner, M Whitaker, including winning the Whitsun Trophy at the Goodwood Revival twice!

This Lola T70 is in immaculate condition and is ready to race.Keep your eyes open at this year’s Goodwood Revival where the car will be racing once again and available to view in the Paddock.

Accompanying the car is an impressive history file and PDF document detailing the car and its history including a huge amount of period photos and race results.
