Description

This XK150 SE has a substantial and fascinating provenance.

The car originated from Arizona, the owner at that time had stopped using his beloved car and carefully dismantled it, keeping its original panels and interior in storage. In 1996 a British couple went travelled to the USA and with a Jaguar specialist found this car complete but dismantled. Incredibly the chassis was rust free and all the original panels and interior were present.

The car was carefully shipped back to the UK and was painstakingly re-assembled. The engine was fully rebuilt including new pistons. The gearbox was changed for a 5 speed XJ6 unit giving the car great performance and touring pace.

The interior was trimmed by the well-respected Mick Turley and remains in fantastic condition with just a degree of patina.

It is a testament to the quality and care of the rebuild that the paint and chrome work is still excellent.

Since restoration the car has always been highly maintained with no expense spared. The car belies its years, driving with great gusto and stability.

A unique opportunity to acquire a fully sorted and original XK150 SE
